With close to 30 PGA Tour players, many corporate clients, many athletes and celebrities,
it sets Southwest Greens apart from all other synthetic turf companies.
Getting a sand infill synthetic putting green installed at your home or facility starts with a no obligation site visit. We take our clients needs, lay of the land, our experience and all other influences into consideration to design a golf green that works and looks phenomenal. During meetings with clients we discuss all aspects of the design and the installation. The design of a green can include first and second cuts, sandtraps, contouring in green and fringe, chipping areas, tee boxes, approach grass, water hazards, extensions into lawn grass, and much more.
Lighting up your green is becoming more popular. We use Focus Industry lighting. Focus has designed lights specifically for backyard and commercial golf greens. The lights are designed to last and have many different lighting options. Ask about lighting up your green.
Sand in-filled vs. Nylon putting greens: Click here to see the difference!
Southwest Greens of BC uses polypropylene sand infilled golf green construction to build putting greens for residential and commercial applications. What does this mean? Nylon is a non infilled putting surface that is great for putting indoors. It has one speed, does not have a realistic look, and will not accept chip shots very natural. For outdoor golf green construction we use sand infilled greens. The advantage of using this turf is better performance, better ball roll, can accept shots from up to 250 yards, variable speed, more natural look, natural ‘real’ golf green reaction. The design of a golf green is custom contoured to the clients wants and from our experience. Including right to lefts and left to rights, downhill and uphill, tiers and much more is really going to help any ones game. Cup placement is important and is done with the client present during construction.
